Being held at gunpoint, and having 250.oo usd forced out of my wallet. Seriously though… have a friend who already has his hands on one… 4 hours of battery on a good day, will not do it for me. My DS will give me the years of enjoyment I need to wait it out for a 3dsi XL.

I don't need any more convincing the 3DS is already looking epic,guess this Nintendo really knows how to make believers out of nay sayers,ther's practically Nintendo cults just based on nostalgia alone.

It needs software I'm interested in. So Castlevania,Etrian Odyssey, and Zelda then the 3DS is bought ;D.

I would purchase a 3DS if 1. a dealer included a (good) free game and 2. if the price dropped by about $50.

A lower price point would convince me to buy one, and if there is a remake of FFV&VI 
Also Castlvania games like on the DS.

as much as i want a 3ds it ain't gonna happen for me at this time since i lost my job and my car needs
a water pump so till i can find something i will have to stick with my ds with the busted hinge

I wouldn't be willing to buy a 3DS until it was below $150. Having played one, I am not impressed by the 3D effect at all. The only game that I felt used 3D to its advantage was Kid Icarus – it was dizzying in PilotWings and absolutely useless in Ocarina of Time. Am I the only person who was able to accurately judge distance in existing polygonal games? Because I think the 3D really adds nothing to the experience.

To get me to buy a Nintendo 3DS, I'd need proof they're glassless technology is quite different from the glasses technology, as I can't see 3D using the two images becomes one way. Since the glassesless tech is just the glasses over the screen basically, I seriously doubt I will be able to see it. So, why buy a 3D gaming system if I can't see the 3D effects? Especially for a consule price of $250. needs to drop at least $100. Plus, I won't buy it anyway until May's upgrades are out if point 1 and 2 are met.
