For those of you not up on your important holiday's, you might want to take the time to celebrate this one.  Feb. 23rd is National Pancake Day.  In order to celebrate this prestigious holiday, IHOP is giving away free short stacks of pancakes (that's 3 free pancakes) to all customers from 7am all the way until 10pm. Denny's is prepared to endure all sorts of chaos and pandemonium as it opens it's door Feb. 9th.  Between the hours of 6am to 2pm customers will be treated to a free (that's right, I said it...FREE) Original Grand Slam breakfast meal. [nextpage]

Denny's free Grand Slam promo has become such a crowd pleasing event, that you better be prepared for some potential long waits. A number of our community members have said that they have waited as long as several hours in the past, just to get their freebie meal. Denny's has stated that in the last more than 2 million people have taken advantage of their special offer, so you may want to check out this Denny's locator to find one near you, and beat the lines.  I get the feeling the lines just might be longer this year as well.
