SEGA has given us the first Westernised trailer for the PS3 exclusive, Yakuza 4. However we still have some time before its Western release: it's not out until Spring 2011. Ooh you are such a tease, SEGA! Well I don't think I really need to say anything more on this matter. Sit back, relax, and if anyone has a spare £300 - can you give it to me so I can actually buy a PS3 and play this game (and Yakuza 3)! [Source: SEGA PR] [nextpage] [Edited By Moderator] ...

SEGA has released a Western 'gameplay' trailer for the upcoming Strategy RPG game for the PSP, Valkyria Chronicles II. Well SEGA calls it a "gameplay" trailer, however it appears to show very little gameplay in it - which is a bit annoying for those of us yet to really see the game in action. However, from the screens we have seen over the months, the game is shaping up to be just like a mini-version to the PS3 original - which automatically means it's going to be awesome (actually - take that with a pinch of salt). Only a short while before the game is released guys. Oh and if you did want a go on the game, SEGA released a demo on the PSN store about a week ago - annoyingly I can't find my PSP and even if I could, I know I don't have enough memory to download ...

Yes this was released a few days ago. We did see it, but due to other commitments haven't had the chance to post the damn thing. So this is for everyone who hasn't yet seen the news - SEGA has announced Football Manager 2011! The sequel to one of the best-selling PC franchises will feature updates to the game's match engine, better 3D animation and visuals for the 3D match view, real-time contract negotiations and plenty more tweaks and improvements. What the announcement video above for more detail, or read the press release after the break.[nextpage] Sports Interactive & SEGA® Europe Ltd. today announced that Football Manager™ 2011 for PC and Apple Macintosh, and Football Manager Handheld™ 2011 for Sony PlayStation® Portable will be ...

SEGA has just released the first official trailer for Sonic Colours and revealed the game's release date. Well the trailer is above, so go ahead and enjoy that first. Done? Good. Next up I'll just let you know that the "November 2010" release date mentioned in the trailer will be in fact November 12th in Europe and November 16th in the US and if you have forgotten, the game will be exclusively for the Wii and DS. Now, what did you guys actually think of what you have seen so far? I'm thinking it looks pretty decent (ah, yes we hear that everytime a new Sonic game comes out - don't we?), but my ONLY concern so far is that SEGA is using those same sodding generic robots that they used in Sonic Unleashed. Ok, we did see those cool looking 'mole' robots ...

Did the recent announcement of Sonic Colours take you by surprise? Do you want to see more about the latest Sonic game? If you answered "Yes," then thankfully SEGA is catering to your needs at this year's E3 show in Los Angeles, with a new teaser trailer and some new gameplay screenshots for both the Wii and DS versions of the game. If, however, you didn't care about the idea of another Wii/DS Sonic title, then I guess you're all out of luck at the moment - but I'm sure that SEGA will be able to accommodate your needs over the next few days (plenty more non-Sonic games to talk about over the week). Anyway, there isn't really any new information on the game right now, except for a couple of level names you might not have seen/heard before. Above is the new teaser ...

SEGA has finally released solid, gameplay footage of their next big FPS title Vanquish. While there has been much excitement already behind Vanquish because of its exciting plot, style, and direction by none other than Resident Evil's Shinji Mikami, seeing this actual gameplay trailer is all the more reason to start getting ready for an epic E3. We can only hope for some hands-on time with Vanquish's boss fights, cover system, and action (heck, everything in the trailer!) [Edited By Moderator] ...

With all the mystery and 'who-ha' surrounding Sonic the Hedgehog 4, SEGA has managed to sneak another Sonic title onto the scene. Today SEGA announced a brand new Sonic outing for the Nintendo Wii and DS; "Sonic Colours." Not a huge amount has been revealed yet, but from the sounds of it this is going to be a 'proper' Sonic title for the Nintendo platforms; by that I mean not a random Mario & Sonic style mini-game fest (nothing wrong with that though - M&S is pretty awesome) or something like Sonic Riders. The Wii version of the game sounds much like Sonic Unleashed, using both 3D and 2D gameplay. Whilst the DS version is said to utilise the dual screen functions properly (good to hear I guess). The most information we have now is about the story which, frankly, sounds ...

With Alpha Protocol's release this week, SEGA is gearing up for the release by showing off a few more new trailers - well how else would you celebrate the launch of a game? The first one, above, is really just a reminder that Alpha Protocol is all about choice and the player can chose how to get out of tight spots, when trying to be stealthy. The second trailer, after the break, is a bit more fun and is basically a music video for the game, however the only words used for lyrics is the name of the lead character. It's kind of irritating, but also surprisingly catchy...[nextpage]
Well I hope you are all excited for the game. I definitely am. But I just hope that all the promises that Obsidian (the developers) has made about the game ...

It's launch day for Iron Man 2 and to help you, the consumers, garner more interest in the game SEGA has released a new trailer. So far from what we've seen, Iron Man 2 does look better than the original (not hard), but it still doesn't look like it's going to make it into the video game hall of fame (man, imagine having that hallway in your home - that would be epic!). It's hard to tell from the videos, but it just doesn't look like the game has the spit and polish that is needed this day and age. But we shouldn't judge a game by moving images, it's best to get your hands on it and decide for yourselves. However, if you don't want to risk handing over your hard-earned cash, SEGA Nerds has just received a copy of Iron Man 2 - so you can wait for a ... |
