So you want to earn some sweet swag? It's easy, but first you got to register!
One thing we at The Kartel wanted to do right from the beginning is to create a way for gaming fans to get their hands on cool swag. The kind of stuff we normally get access to, but most people can't buy. So as a way to encourage active participation on the site, we dole out $Karma Point for various activities. As an example, as of today, you can now earn points for:
- Creating a blog (1 Points)
- Making a comment on blog (1 Point)
- Making a forum post (1 Point)
- Starting a forum thread (1 Point)
- Referring a friend (2 Points)
Soon enough, we'll add on more ways for you to earn points, but at this stage, this is the ONLY way you can earn points.
So what do you do with all the points you earn? You can earn some cool swag and prizes in our Swag Auction. This isn’t like most contests which are completely random, as we wanted to reward our fans who contribute the most on The Kartel.
So start participating on the site and enjoy yourself. Like the site says, this much fun should be a crime.

RULES FOR POSTING
There are some rules to posting, so take note. If we find that you are creating lots of useless posts and comments, you will be flagged. We have ways to tracking if you are jacking up your points artificially, so don't even think about it. In the worst case scenario, if you are caught abusing our rules, you could get banned, and lose all your points. For rules on posting, please read this.
Please note that any issues that arise from problems with posting or points, or if our Terms of Service is compromised, the admin ultimately has final say on any actions taken.
